As the Vice President and General Manager of Sam’s Club Member Access Platform (MAP), Lex is responsible for developing a compelling ads experience for members, while simultaneously driving growth and profitability for Sam’s Club. Her approach focuses on the five key pillars of People, Proposition, Product, Processes, and Profit, which she successfully applies to deliver exceptional results.

Lex has a wealth of experience in the industry, having worked at some of the world’s most successful media companies. She was one of the original leaders at Walmart Media Group (now Walmart Connect), where she helped transform and accelerate the ad sales business within Walmart, growing the business by a remarkable 400%. Lex has also held key positions at NBCUniversal Media, Pinterest, VEVO, Electronic Arts, and Hulu.

In her role as VP of Sales and Ad Tech partnerships at Walmart, Lex focused on several critical areas, including regaining trust, building strong relationships, achieving revenue targets, and rigorously managing financial accuracy and pipeline. She also introduced a new type of sales incentive compensation plan that rewarded her team for achieving results for customers, while ensuring a profitable return for Walmart.

Lex’s dedication to her craft extends beyond her work, and she is actively involved in mentoring women in business. She serves on the advisory board of Circana and has earned a reputation as a leader who builds and inspires teams. There’s no question that she’s a star in Retail Ecommerce Management (REM) and that she will continue to make significant contributions to the industry.
