Judging Process

 Our judging process utilizes a combination of big data quantitative marketshare analysis, peer feedback and the contents included in the application writeup. We’ve partnered with an industry leading REM Data Provider, CommerceIQ, to help with the quantitative analysis. Our goal is to remove as much bias as possible in the judging process so that people are judged on merit. 

For brand nominees, we will further analyze market share improvements in the calendar year of the award to help quantify and qualify the nominee’s performance versus other nominees. 

For retailer nominees, we will evaluate all of the major innovations that have been introduced in the calendar year along with feedback and input from brand executives in the broader industry to assess how impactful the changes have been. 

For influencers, we will gather feedback from brands, retailers and investors in the industry to assess how influential they have been.

For employers, we will survey and gather feedback from brand and retail leaders on the best places to build your career in REM.
