Darren Silverman’s exceptional leadership in eCommerce and customer operations has been instrumental in the success of Petmate, a leading pet supplies company.

Since joining Petmate in 2016, Darren has led a cross-functional team that focuses on the Retail eCommerce Channel and the Customer Leadership Team. His work includes managing retail giants such as Amazon.com, Chewy.com, Wayfair, and supporting the Omnichannel business with Walmart.com, PetSmart.com, and Petco.com, among others. He also led the successful integration of two major pet supplies companies in 2021, developing an integrated eCommerce team, and a unified sales support organization.

Prior to Petmate, Darren spent over 12 years in children's products categories, where he worked in several sales leadership roles with Crayola and as EVP of Sales with Alex Brands. In both roles, he worked with retailers across various channels and led significant advancements in eCommerce with Amazon and Walmart.com, as well as emerging eCommerce retailers like Kohl’s, Zulily, Target, and Toys R US.

Before his work in children's products, Darren spent ten years managing businesses in multiple grocery categories, with Nabisco, and the J.M. Smucker company. He has diverse responsibilities, including category management, shopper insights, in-store experience, merchandising, and trade marketing leadership.
